Quick Start Guide

Hi all,
We’ve recently discovered a really helpful digital tool called VocalEyes that can assist us with our communications by maintaining an ongoing conversation and helping to identify our priorities.

How to engage:

  1. Go to: http://vocaleyes.org
  2. Click REGISTER then LOGIN
  3. Once logged in on the Dashboard, SEARCH for [YOUR GROUP NAME] (in the top black bar)
  4. Click on your group > open JOIN OPTIONS > Become a MEMBER
  5. Click IDEAS and RATE and COMMENT on ALL the ideas
  6. ADD IDEAS of your own for others to consider
  7. Once you’ve finished, make sure you go to your EMAIL INBOX and VALIDATE your email address.
    NB. If you can’t find it, check your JUNK folder.

VocalEyes Widgets (for Public Groups)

All VocalEyes groups have widgets that can be embedded in other websites. These widgets show a list of ideas from the group and enable people to quickly link to the content on VocalEyes and engage.

If you’d like to embed a widget in your website i.e. WordPress, follow these steps:

VocalEyes Widget Single Sign On (SSO)

VocalEyes provides a seamless Single Sign On integration with your intranet, whether that be Moodle, Sharepoint, Blackboard or any other application.

To install the VocalEyes widget the following steps are required:

  1. Install the code for your intranet that will pass the intranet username variable to our widget – https://downloads.vocaleyes.org/
  2. Configure your widget and enable Single Sign On (SSO) in the “Widget Settings” section in your VocalEyes Group Admin: Group Admin > Widget Settings
    Note: If you not already a Group Administrator then REGISTER & JOIN at https://vocaleyes.org > SEARCH for you Group > Click JOIN OPTIONS Apply as Group Administrator
